Brother Joe Barbour
Interim Pastor

Spring has several meanings for me in life. But the best is that we see new life come to fruition, with the budding of the trees, flowers, and shrubs. But it also means that the grass is going to grow and the yard will need mowing. That means work, doesn't it?

For the church there should be an eternal spring wherein we see new growth, both numerically and spiritually. The New Testament church grew daily, so should we.  With new growth, this means developing new believers. New, is a common theme in the New Testament.  Paul states in 2 Corinthians 5, that the old has passed away and all things have become new.

Bethel has been on the verge of becoming new ever since I have known you, which began in October, 2003. Once you make up your minds that the old is gone, and all is to become new, there will be a "greening" here that will help this church to grow and grow to the heights to which God would lead. Are you willing to allow God to do this?
